Commitment and Practices in ESG: Fostering Sustainable and Responsible Business Practices

Micro-Star Int’l Co., Ltd. and its subsidiaries (collectively, the “MSI Group”) is based on the business concept of People-Oriented & Corporate Social Responsibility of Fulfilling, and to strictly prohibit misconduct, improper advantage, violation of labor conditions (including but not limited to discrimination, harassment, trafficking of persons, slavery, and inhumane treatment, etc.) in any form to all workers. Moreover, to provide capable of aid and support to meet the requirements base on society benefits, implementing the duty of corporate sustainability continuously, making the promises that establish a process to continuously improve the corporate sustainability performances.

To ensure all business activities to meet the Environmental, Occupational Safety & Health, Social, and Corporate Governance regulations and other relevant requirements, enhancing management and personnel training to the aim of fostering sustainability culture.

To continually improve employee hiring, wages, benefits, and working conditions in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

To focus on environmental and climate change topics, product design and production are continuously improved the impacts that reduce energy and resource consumption, minimize the generation of pollutants, and decrease carbon emissions.

To establish safety & health workplace for all workers, find out the potential risks, eliminate accidents, prevent pollution, avoid injury & illness, and reduce them within a tolerable level. To consult, participate, disseminate, communicate, and disclosure relevant information about Environmental, Occupational Safety & Health, Social, and Corporate Governance to all workers, customers, and other interested party, and conduct that improve regular reviews of corrective actions in order to continuously enhance performances.

MSI established the Environmental Protection and Corporate Social Responsibility Committee in 2020 for the pursuit of corporate social responsibility. This committee is a cross-functional body under the command of the committee head. Respective designated (adjunct) bodies will proceed to horizontal communication as instructed and align with international standards, and be responsible for environmental protection and mapping out the topics of sustainable development; reviewing the annual economic, environmental, and social goals; and supervising the attainment towards these goals at regular intervals.
