The MSI MS-98F7 is a COM Express Single Board Computer (SBC) designed for Type 6-Compact solutions, featuring the 7th/6th Gen Intel® Kaby Lake-U/Skylake-U Series processors. It supports up to 32GB of DDR4 memory through two SODIMM slots, with speeds up to 2133/1866 MHz. The board supports triple independent displays via VGA, LVDS, and two Digital Display Interfaces (DDI). Networking capabilities include GbE LAN. Expansion options include eight PCIe x1 (Gen 3) slots for additional peripherals. For storage, it provides three SATA 3.0 ports and includes a 32GB eMMC 5.0 module. It supports SATA RAID 0/1/5 configurations. Connectivity options include four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, eight USB 2.0 ports, and two UART ports. The board features onboard TPM 2.0 for enhanced security and supports Intel® Active Management Technology (iAMT) version 11.x.
